Garden Training Runs

Just because the race is run in the Garden of the Gods, it’s not a tiptoe through the tulips! To help prepare racers for the challenge, the Pikes Peak Road Runners will conduct Garden of the Gods training runs every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 6am beginning on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. The training runs are always completed by 7am. The training runs follow segments of the course to allow runners to become familiar with the course and terrain. There are numerous ability groupings during the training runs so runners are able to train at the level best suited for them. This is a great opportunity to prepare for the race and to enjoy the fellowship of other runners. At the completion of the training runs, there will be a course preview run for those interested in running the full course prior to race day.  GOG Training Runs powered by Pikes Peak Road Runners.



In addition to the GOG Training Runs above, you can join Fleet Feet as they build community and train for the Garden of the Gods 10 Mile and 10K together with several training program options! You can choose from a 12-week program designed for the 10-Mile Race or an 8-week program designed for the 10K. These programs are open to all levels, no minimum experience is required. Sign up soon, as training dates start as early as March 13, 2024. This program is presented in partnership with Garden of the Gods.
