The first race of a new competitive pathway for runners in Grades 7-12, the Youth Classic is a race that has it all – a spectacular setting, a physically demanding course, and all of the excitement that runners have come to know and enjoy with the Garden of the Gods Ten Mile Run® …but on the trails and exclusively for Ages 12-18. Modeled after the Garden to Peak Challenge, the Youth Classic is the inaugural event of Pikes Peak Marathon’s Youth Trail and Mountain Running Race Series, a developmental pipeline aligned with some of the most respected mountain and trail races in the country – the Pikes Peak Marathon+Ascent, Barr Trail Mountain Race and Garden of the Gods Ten Mile Run® – introducing young athletes to:
IF SLOTS ARE AVAILABLE: Race morning registration will be from 5:45am-6:30am at the parking area near the race start.
Finish Line Closing:
The finish line for all races will close at 9:30am. Participants who do not cross the finish line within the closing time will not be counted or listed as a finisher.
